Citizen Science Hour for Biodiversity Collections Webinar Series

Friday, June 25, 2021

iDigInfo Director Austin Mast and former iDigInfo postdoc Libby Ellwood (now at UF’s Florida Museum of Natural History) are co-organizing a webinar series on citizen science for the museum community. Citizen science affords the community an opportunity to simultaneously advance science, science education, and science sustainability. The series runs from January to August, 2021, and includes speakers from the Citizen Science Association, the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, California Academy of Sciences, and many more organizations speaking on a diversity of useful topics. Austin serves on the board of the Citizen Science Association. The work is a component of iDigInfo’s activities during iDigBio’s Phase 2.
