iDigInfo Director Austin Mast participated as an invited speaker in the United Nation’s World Data Forum in Medellin, Colombia, in November 2024. He participated in the expert panel “Citizen Science: Opportunities and Challenges for Enhanced Local to Global SDG Monitoring and Action” with, among others, Steve MacFeely, the Chief Statistician for the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. Mast further contributed to programming by the United Nation’s Citizen Data Collaborative, an expert group in which he participates.
