iDigInfo Director Austin Mast has been elected to serve as the board chair of the Citizen Science Association for the year running mid-2022 to mid-2023. The Citizen Science Association is the oldest and largest association of its kind and focuses on both broadening and deepening science engagement for the benefit of participants, science, and society. The organization produces the journal “Citizen Science: Theory and Practice” and an annual conference (C*Sci 2023 will occur May 22–26 at Arizona State University).
